Doug Harrison

Doug Harrison is a career GIS Risk Analyst. Before coming to Coastal Risk Consulting, he spent 25 years as a GIS/Emergency Management contractor supporting FEMA, DHS, and DoD contracts as well as a variety of local, State, Corporate and Non-Profit clients. He has been involved extensively with the creation of GIS data supporting the National Flood Insurance Program, has spent lengthy time at 10 Presidentially Declared Disaster Sites supporting FEMA's Response and Recovery Directorate and supported over 100 others remotely from FEMA headquarters, has developed and implemented GIS Hazard Data coursework supporting Individual and Public Assistance programs at the National Emergency Management Institute, Mount Weather, FEMA headquarters as well as most FEMA regional offices. He has also maintained military facility data and conducted numerous risk assessments for the Navy in Europe, Mideast and Europe, several Army National Guard Facilities and the Smithsonian Institute.
